Basically, it’s an alternate ending to the War of the Ring, in which Faramir gets to summon all of the power of the Dead Men of Dunharrow into himself, giving him the power to single-handedly defeat the entire Mordor army, all while crying and screaming DO YOU LOVE ME NOW DADDY??? at Denethor. Except that instead of Gondorman, he’s called Captain Gondor, because Faramir was a captain of Gondor, and I am nothing if not a creative namer of things.

Surprisingly, I have not heard back from Christopher Tolkien about getting an official LOTR branding for the story. Weird, right?
